Component configuration

Once SVMap component is installed on your Joomla! 1.5 site, the SVMap icon appears in the component list. First, go to "Configuration" tab in order to configure the component.

To use Google Maps on your web site, you need a "Google API Key" that you can get for free here: http://code.google.com/apis/maps/signup.html . A "Google API Key" can be used only for one URL, so you have to ask for a new Key for each web site. Your site’s Key must be entered in the first field of the SVMap "Configuration" tab.
